“We are their hyungs, but I only have you as my hyung” - Heechul
To me, they’re like the two pillars of SJ.
Teuk is the mother of the group, like how most mums would, he would be there to comfort his members during down times and cry when one of them leaves.
Heechul is the father of the group, like how most dads would, he would be there to scold and stand up for his members if they were to be bullied, criticized or treated unfairly.
When Teuk cry, all I felt was pain. Not just pain because his best brother is leaving, not just pain he felt from his fans, not just pain from this whole army thing.
But Teukie had always been a strong leader, always putting on a smile even when he felt like breaking down, the stuffs he tweeted, most are depressing.
Having Heechul to leave him is like having a ventilator removed from a brain-dead patient.
His only source of comfort.
The only person whom he confides to without having to hide anything.
The only person who would help to share his burden as being the eldest in the group.
It almost felt like an amputation, he may survive without Heechul by his side, but a part of him would always be missing.
Yes, the dongsaengs would be there to comfort and help leader when he’s down, but things are just different when the people whom you’re supposed to protect are protecting you.
It’s never easy to be the eldest, mark my words.
But we all know, this is just a temporary departure.
Technology is so advanced now, they can always keep in contact with each other.
One day, Leader would have to leave for army too, this is a fact that we, fans, cannot change.
The only thing we can change is the skepticism of other people, we will wait for their return right? :)
Be it apart or together, SJ’s heart is together as one.
Tears from winning at an award show, a heart at the army can feel it.
A scrap on the knee from army training, somewhere in a music show, a heart can feel it.)
This is my favourite idol group, this is Super Junior :’)
